Riverside Research’s Plasma Physics Laboratory has an opportunity for a Laboratory Intern in Dayton, Ohio. The candidate will provide support in the design, development, and execution of laboratory experiments in the field of plasma physics.
All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.
Work in a team of professional researchers in daily laboratory activities
• Working toward or have a Bachelors degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Superior communications skills, written and verbal
• Experience with plasmas, optics, or microwave systems.
• Experience with control systems for scientific instrumentation
• Experience with high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum equipment
• Experience with imaging systems for scientific instrumentation
• Experience with MatLab
