2019-008-OIC: Trusted and Resilient Systems Intern

Riverside Research is seeking qualified candidates for multiple summer internship positions in our Trusted and Resilient Systems research group. Our research group has on going work in the areas of cryptography, information security, open system architectures, compressed sensing, machine learning, and cognitive radio. Interns will work with mentors at Riverside Research to explore exciting research concepts in one or more of these areas.
All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.
• Work with research mentor at Riverside Research to scope summer research project
• Assist in developing prototype software to support the research objectives
• Develop reports and presentations on research status and final results
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned
• U.S. citizenship required
• Enrolled in Bachelor's degree (entering Junior or Senior year), Masters' or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics
• Experience with software development and multiple programming languages
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience conducting research, including designing experiments and analyzing results.
