Riverside Research is seeking a Transition Liaison in Portland, Oregon to introduce new science and technology into customer portfolios and initiatives and facilitate the transition of activities between developing organizations and end-user communities.

All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. citizenship.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee technology development, rapid prototyping, and technology transition initiatives
  • Lead change across a wide range of research and development activities in support of emerging multi-domain mission requirements
  • Formalize relationships across government organizations and entities conducting technology development and linking new capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure current and emerging research efforts deliver best return on investment of research and development programs
  • Leverage scientific and technical program management experience to plan and conduct research and development, define resources, mitigate risk, provide technical guidance, and report results to management on new and evolving technologies of interest
  • Fuse scientific and technical expertise with operational experience and knowledge of air and space research and development across a variety of government organizations
  • Other duties as assigned

     

  • Qualifications:
    • TS/SCI clearance required
    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (Master’s preferred)
    • 10+ years of relevant experience
    • Operational/deployed experience
    • Previous experience working with Space, Special Operations, Research Operational/Developmental Test, and Evaluation organizations
    • Prior Air Force experience working in MAJCOM Headquarters or Headquarters of United States Air Force
    • Experience with space/multi-domain technology development programs
    • Knowledge of current and emerging strategic guidance, national defense, and intelligence priorities
