2020-076-INT: Mid-Level Space/Counterspace Intelligence Analyst

Riverside Research’s Intelligence and Defense Solutions (IDS) directorate is seeking a Mid-Level Space/Counterspace Intelligence Analyst to support the USSPACECOM/J2 Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Mid-Level Space/Counterspace Intelligence Analyst will function as part of a team providing strategic and operational indications & warning, assessments of adversary capabilities and intentions, as well as support to crisis action and deliberate planning, using multiple intelligence disciplines. They will apply their strong interpersonal and organizational skills in building relationships with community stakeholders. They will apply their all-source analytical education, training, and experience to respond to customer intelligence requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct all-source analytic production of foreign space capabilities including, but not limited to foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies
• Research foreign space and counterspace forces, activities, and capabilities including, but not limited to civilian and military organizations, command structures, leadership, equipment, weapons, and systems and their readiness and disposition
• Conduct analysis of foreign space facilities; operations, exercises and training; tactics, techniques, and procedures; vulnerabilities; assembly and launch capabilities; dual-use systems and technologies; and emerging space and counterspace technologies
• Develop, coordinate, refine, and execute USSPACEOM counterspace warning problems and associated indicators
• Monitor and report on adversary space and counterspace assets operational research and development
• Develop pattern-of-life analysis on adversary space and counterspace forces and systems
• Other duties as assigned

• Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience in all-source intelligence analysis or related intelligence activities
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience supporting space intelligence or operational activities at a national intelligence agency, combatant command, service component, or service intelligence center
