Riverside Research is seeking a part time (20 hours/week) Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act Management Support position at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This position will support AF ISR programs.

HIRES WITH AN ACTIVE SECRET (TS) CLEARANCE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.

Job Responsibilities:
• Serves as management support for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) program for the 645th Aeronautical Systems Group
• Conducts thorough review of AF and MAJCOM policy and guidance to determine if supplemental guidance is required for installation implementation to protect access to information which falls under the PA during electronic transmissions
• Interprets the law, publications discussing current amendments, findings, and decisions in order to keep installation procedures current
• Responds to Higher Headquarters data requests and directives on behalf of the 645 AESG/CC
• Conducts annual reviews of all approved PA systems of record notices with systems managers to ensure currency and relevance
• Reviews official publications, forms, and websites for compliance with applicable statutory legislation, policies and procedures
• Assists in identifying systems of record which fall under PA and assists custodians in preparation of required System of Records Notices (SORNs)
• References and implements relevant PA directives, professional journals, and court decisions
• Implements AF guidelines for collecting, safeguarding, maintaining, using, accessing, amending, and disseminating personal data kept in systems of records to comply with AF PA program
• Attends professional and locally identified PA training seminars and conferences as required to maintain knowledge of updated procedures and requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Current SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years minimum experience as a FOIA and PA monitor.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation, DoD regulations, and AF policy as it relates to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA).
• Knowledge of the FOIA and PA legal exemptions process, procedures, and guidelines for federal agencies.
• Knowledge of automated programs sufficient to enter and retrieve data, construct and maintain statistical and data e-files.
• Skill in providing technical advice in terms of oral and written briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate information, in order to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
