The Riverside Research Intelligence and Defense Solutions Directorate is comprised of exceptionally talented and dedicated individuals, working as a team, who assist IC and DoD customers in accomplishing their critical missions. We provide dedicated services spanning program management and advocacy, systems engineering, research and development, intelligence analytics, mission planning, and software engineering.

Riverside Research’s Intelligence and Defense Solutions Directorate is seeking a full-time Software Development Project Manager to join our talented team in support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership to the vision, design, and oversight of complex projects, spanning software and hardware solutions
• Function as Subject Matter Expert for software and hardware development efforts
• Manage product backlogs and Agile workloads; lead daily scrums and technical reviews
• Provide insight and technical contribution as needed to a wide range of systems engineering tasks, e.g. requirements management and test
• Coordinate between government leadership, development teams, vendors, and system users to ensure system planning, design, and implementation meets mission needs and resource constraints
• Identify, track, and report project and system risks
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation related to the overall program
• Review and assess systems engineering documentation generated by development teams
• Document accomplishments and insight via documentation and other coordination to include trip reports, monthly status reports, collaboration exchanges, program management reviews, and end-of-task reporting
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current Top Secret/SCI required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field 
    • Applicable experience in lieu of education will be considered
• Project management and oversight experience
• Requirements management experience, including Agile
• Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Risk Management experience
• Ability to design and oversee implementation of vision to enable new capabilities to meet user needs
• Experience in team leadership and project oversight
• Experience leading Agile software development teams
• Professional Certifications, (e.g. PMP, INCOSE CSEP, ISTQB, DoDAF, or Security+)
• Experience with needs documentation, e.g. CONOPs, use cases
